Hi! My name is Pinky Petunia Pornstar, although Mama usually calls me Bella, because Bella means beautiful and, well… Mama thinks I’m pretty darn beautiful. 💕 My government name comes from a long-running family inside joke, and if you are lucky enough to become my forever family, you’ll get to hear the story behind it. Trust me, there’s a story there. 😂
Before joining Lucky Bulldogs Rescue, I spent my days and nights in a kennel at a commercial breeding facility. I didn’t know much about the big, wide world or what it was like to be a dog who gets to just… be a dog.
And let me tell you, I am LOVING the upgrade.
These days, I have a yard to run around in, and I think it is basically the greatest invention ever created. I run, I play, I explore, and sometimes I kick my back legs out behind me like a tiny bucking bronco. 🤠🐎 My foster mama says it’s pretty hilarious, and I agree.
I also have fur siblings, and I love them! Dogs? Friends! Cats? Also friends! I’m still learning all about appropriate play and personal space, but I genuinely enjoy having other animals around and would love a forever home with furry friends to keep me company.
People are my favorite, too. I love everyone, including the little humans who come over to play with me. I can get nervous if someone moves quickly toward me, but I’m learning that people aren’t scary and that I don’t have to worry when someone approaches me. My confidence is growing every day, and having patient humans who let me learn at my own pace will help me continue to blossom.
I’m also still figuring out this whole “potty outside” business. I’m learning that outside is the preferred location, but sometimes I forget and Mama has to gently remind me. I’m making progress, and consistency and routine will be important for me as I continue learning.
And then there’s my mouth. 😂
I’m still a little puppy at heart, and when I get excited and playful, I sometimes like to use my mouth to interact with my humans. I’m not trying to be naughty or hurt anyone, I’m just still learning that ankles, arms and legs are NOT toys. Mama reminds me that toys belong in my mouth, and I’m learning! With patience, routine and plenty of appropriate things to chew and carry around, I’m confident I’ll get the hang of it.
I would really love a family that understands that I’m still learning what it means to be a beloved pet. I’ve spent a lot of my life without the experiences that many dogs take for granted, so sometimes I need a little extra patience while I figure things out. But every new experience is another opportunity for me to discover how wonderful life can be.
One thing I know for sure? I do not want to be alone all day. After spending so much of my life in a kennel, I really enjoy having people and furry friends around. I can get sad when I’m left by myself for long periods, so my dream home would be one where someone is around much of the day or where I have a canine companion to keep me company.
I’m spunky, silly, affectionate and playful, and I have so much personality packed into this little body. I’m learning how to be a house dog, how to play appropriately, how to potty outside and how to navigate all the things that come with being part of a family.
But I’m also learning something much more important:
Life is pretty darn awesome when you're loved. 💕
I’ve gone from a kennel to a yard. From having very little choice in my world to discovering toys, friends, adventures and people who care about me. Now I’m looking for the final piece of the puzzle: my forever family.
Could that be you?
I promise to bring the zoomies, the bronco kicks, the silly antics, the puppy energy and an enormous amount of love. You bring the patience, consistency, furry friends and a whole lot of affection.
Deal? 🐾💗

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.
We typically will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks, but we do notify all applicants of the outcome.
